Well, I only got mine this morning in the post so I suggest you give it until tomorrow or Saturday. Then ring customer services at the number inside the magazine if it still hasn't arrived. I'm afraid I only run the website, I have nothing to do with the post or distribution arrangements.

As I mentioned before there is national action going on, not so much strikes but Working to rule.. which has been going on a while now according to out postman and the Local postoffice , so I would expect some delays all round..

My copy arrived this morning (Monday 7th). The post is never very good in North London, but the latest series of disputes has made it even worse. Off to the pub to read it now!!!!

Cheers,

Mike

Model Boats will be publishing their Winter Special on 29th October under the title Naval and Lifeboat Special. Subscribers will get it the week before.

This combines two very popular areas of model boating so should be of interest to a lot of people. As soon as the full contents are available I will post them on the Model Boats website  http://www.modelboats.co.uk/

In the meantime here is a reproduction of the cover to whet your appetite!

The contents of the Model Boats Naval and Lifeboats Winter Special can now be seen on the Model Boats website: http://www.modelboats.co.uk/

The issue is due to be in the shops on 29th October while subscribers should get it before then depending on the effects of the current industrial action in respect of Royal Mail.

Warships and Lifeboats are popular modelling subjects so it's well worth checking out.

The cover and contents of the December 2009 issue can now be seen on the Model Boats website: http://www.modelboats.co.uk/ This issue contains some images from the recent photographic competition and a superb image of Gribeauval's work is featured on the cover. I reckon it looks more realistic than the real thing!

Probably everyone seeing as it's not due out until 20th November - or were you referring to the Winter Special Peter in which case it's almost certainly down to the Post Office strikes.
