I would be interested to know what others do or use to stop Cyno sticking to ones fingers when applying the outer skin. Light pinning could be used but you never get a prope match of filler especially Mahogany strip.
I have not been around for awhile but now I am building again.

A tricky question. I make sure that I only hold down the plank I'm fixing with the tip of a fingernail. It's easier than it sounds once you get the hang of it, and it's quite easy to twist the nail off the plank once the glue has hardened. Easier to sand dried glue from a nail than a fingertip as well.

When cyano was first introduced, a range of plastic tools was sold (pliers, tweezers, pointers etc).  They were made of a type of plastic that superglue would not stick to.  I dont think they lasted commercially as most moddelers got the idea and found plastic items that could be used just as well.  Just find something that the superglue wont stick to, and hold the plank in place with that.

Is it the same fingernail as in your Avatar Anmo, or did you try to pick your nose with cyano still on the nail?

Ceres, I use to fix planks with small needles, before I glue them. The only method I know as I have already "lost" some fingertips...
