Springloading LH Joystick
« on: March 01, 2009, 02:32:29 pm »

I have a Hitec Laser 4 and want to spring load the LH joystick for dual motor control.

Howes sold me a modification kit and advised me to take the back off the Tx and copy the RH joystick.

Two problems. the little bar is very similar but not identical to the other one, it has optional steel pivots, the original is plastic and it is a marginally different shape, it wion't quite fit between the "ears" of the support pillar so I am wondering if it is the correct part.

More seriously I can see no way of wangling it into the assembly without taking the entire joystick assembly to bits which I am frightened to do.

Can anyone advise me on how to do this

Thanks

Have another word with Howes, I did one for my capt and the parts fitted no problem and looked exact to the other stick.
