hi i have a MFA TORPEDO 500 MOTOR on box it says 6-12 volt. can i run it on a 3000mah. 7.2 BATTERY.

The limit of motors is temperature and that depends on
power losses
and cooling. A 500 motor would be run for maximum power in boats which would mean you get 50% efficiency.
You can run on 24 volts if it suits you but just keep the 500 motor losses to 30 watts unless you force cool.That means don't overprop such that power out falls off and keep power input (volts x amps) to 60 watt
