Which rmote unit?

Hi there. I have the chance of 2 transmitter sets, both with receivers and servos, but i don't know which would suit my boat. I am building a Billings Smit Rotterdam, and was wondering if either a Futaba skysport 6(6 channel) or a sanwa vanguard(6 channel) would be ok to use with this boat. It may seem a daft question to most of you experts on here, but this is my first forray into r/c, and i am learning as i go along. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I have used Futaba for years with little or no problem, and Sanwa two channel sets for years with little or no problem, so basically which ever feels better in your hand would be the one to use as they are both reliable sets...

Both would suit your boat as they both provide the same functionality. However, in my experience it's easier to get Futaba stuff, ie more readily available, (eg receiver, servos) should you need them (eg expand your fleet)

Hi Doug. The futaba comes with receiver, 4 servos,2 sets crystals and chargers ;D
