Graupner 400 Speed or 600 ECO
« on: October 05, 2006, 03:15:25 pm »

Getting stuck into my Veron Police Launch, got a photocopy plan off Ebay.

Looking for a motor now. I was looking at something like a Graupner 600 ECO to give 30mins on a 7.2v battery, but then noticed to Graupner 400 Speed is about the same consumption with the advantage of 50% of the weight (nearly) and smaller. Anyone used one? I know it's probably a bit too powerful but I prefer a bit more power that too little.

I use one in a 25.5" Stealth Boat (MMI Plan) pushes along very nicely. Never timed the duration but never had concerns about run time.

Cheers

The 400 is a good powerful small motor.
Quite happy to run on low revs but with quite a bit of power for its size.
A very useful motor.
