HMS Endeavour

Received this e mail today, can anyone help?

Hello,

We are making a series of programmes for Channel 4 on the history of science and are featuring the story of Joseph Banks – a botanist onboard Captain Cooke’s HMS Endeavour. For this segment we have David Attenborough presenting and would love David to have a scale model of the HMS Endeavour to refer to in the piece. I understand your organisation has great links to model enthusiasts and so we hoped that you might be able to help supply the model for filming on the 23rd of April in Kew Gardens. Do you know of anyone who may be able to lend us this model? We could come and collect the ship prior to the date and return it, or alternatively we would love to invite the kind owner to come along to the shoot.

Please email or call if you think you could help in any way.

Many thanks,

Chloe Seddon

The National Marinetime museum in Greenwich has a lovely HMS Endeavour model which also shows all the internal works etc.
