Servo linkage

Hi i was wondering do i need to buy a special type of wire to connect my servo to my rudder?

No, I use brazing wire, but you can buy threaded bar which is thicker steel with a thread on one end to fit the servo ends.
On rudders I connect both sides so 1 side is always pulling so wire in tension.
