Nice photos Richard, the new boats look great on the water. Sorry I missed the show last Saturday, problems with wife's car!

At last a warm day at the lake, we've never had so much water at this time of the year.

A few photos.

Certainly a nice place to be. It is a lot of water you've got there this time.

Nice selection of boats Dicky.

25 degrees C and sunny, light breeze what more do you need at the lake apart from boats.

Quit a lot of boats on the lake today plus the usual visitors and the obligatory salvage of the torpedo boat that collided flat out with a bouy and flipped. It was recovered intact which is unusual on our lake as no one has found the bottom of it yet.

Is that white cruiser a Deglet Nour?

Very nice to see a real cruiser apart from a Fairey of some description (much as I love 'em!)

Brilliant Richard!

Lovely pictures as always, a really nice selection you get at Setley, here at Eastbourne you're lucky if you see anything other than a large selection of Torpedo boats. Although I will post some pics up later of what was a beautiful day today, they will be nothing compared to what you've shown us here! Marine Modelling at its best.

I'm inclined to agree. That is a remarkable selection.  At our local pond when I've rarely been it's been a boring succession of Billings ocean tugs and cargo ships with the odd battleship of three feet bobbing around like a cork and being driven like a demented duck!

I would happily spend a morning at Setley with a flask and a box of sarnies just enjoying the action and variety.
Thanks for the pictures.

Andy,

Yes I did, I got a few of your heroic rescue of the fast electric that went kaput. I'm scrabbling around for my camera lead now and will put them up later.
