JJC Sound System Problem
« on: October 16, 2006, 04:24:02 pm »

I have a JJC sound system in my MTB, a Master unit and a slave unit, both engine sounds (port and stbd, independant control).  It seems that my slave unit has either died or is in the process of dying as it is only making squeaks and squawks and if it makes any kind of sensible noise, it is very high pitched.  Either its on the way out or I have a dying sea gull trapped in there!  Anyone else heard this sort of behaviour?  Yes, it has got wet, but it has done several times and after careful drying out has seemed none the worse.  Have I drowned it once too often?  Any ideas much appreciated before I go and buy another.
