Kawartha Marine Modeler's spring run
« on: June 01, 2009, 11:43:23 am »

This past Saturday the Kawartha Marine Modeler's had their annual spring first run at GGeorge's dock's. The weather started grey and overcast and not very promising, however, by the time the faithful arrived the sun broke out as requested. We had a beautiful calm run day  on the Scugog River.
The usual suspects from the area showed up along with Wilhelm  (AWVS) and his recent builds, Amsterdam and Tsekoa II. Both vessels were stunning. We managed to maneuver both Wilhelm's and my Amsterdam's for a pic.
  First pic, the venue.....

Nice venue lovely boats. Your weather looks almost as good as ours (it won't last though - ours that is)

Hope everyone had a good day.

All the best

  Thanks very much.
Don't be fooled, it was, and is, very cool here for the time of the year. Frost last night and snow just a few miles north of here. The temperature should be up in the 20's C this time of year.
That said, everyone had a good day.
