I finally managed to get my narrowboat on the water today - still some details left (like windows and roof details) but she floats and runs well  :}

1:20 scale, scratch built.
36" long 4"wide 3.5Kg running weight  385 motor on 7.2volt pack

You might notice that below the waterline she is not to scale   >>:-(
unfortunately, where it can't be seen  she is approx twice as deep as full size in order to accomodate a 35mm prop (and make it more stable). above the waterline the scale is reasonable %)

This is a narrow boat that I sail, it was built in 1986 by a good friend, it was made from 3 floorboards and 2 offcuts of fence post shaped for the bow and stearn. It is built to 3/4" to the foot, it is 55" long and weighs 10.2 kg or 25lbs.
