There is quite a lot of information available on the web on these ships, including several sets of plans - either free or on sale.

http://www.hmsfalcon.com/

http://www.mo-na-ko.net/plans/index.html

https://shop.traplet.com/product.aspx?c=1486

There is also an excellent book - Gunboats of the Royal Navy, by Paul J Kemp.

I have started a model -  1:48 scale - but stopped work when I could not get the propeller tunnels to work out. I think I can crack it using plastic waste pipe, but I've not had time to go back to it lately.

 :-) Thanks Rick,

I did email the Falcon site owner but never got a reply :((
I got the plan from Traplet (HMS Gnat)  :}
Did get a few books but not that one  :((
Trying to find out if the decks were just steel when they were in Messopotamia or wether they had planking. I think they were refitted in 1920 before going to China.
On an old pic of Cockchafer? it looks like they are steel back to the cowl vent then there is a tarp so dunno about the rest can't find any pics of WW1 era  <:(

I agree the prop tunnels are the worst part to do , not so bad on a plug but if it's plank on frame be worse.  :((

Ed :-))

Tarantula definitely had (some) wooden decking post war in China. There is a picture of the Captain leaving by the forward starboard gangway in Kemp's book.
