It would be tough. The model is roughly 4mm to the foot and according to the Airfiz web site is only 15cm long. Since most of that is open space for tanks etc. then you'd need to do some nifty engineering to hide the working parts.

and that auction isn't a bargain either - more like RRP

You would probably have to make your own prop and shaft - not difficult if you have a google for towboatjoe and then go to his masterclass on shafts, then think "smaller".  The big problem is payload.  Small plastic kits tend to use all of the available weight for the plastic as supplied, which doesnt leave much for anything else.  Something like this would probably benefit from a false bottom to hold the working bits plus some ballast to help keep it all upright while keeping the load deck above water.  Effectively, you would be sitting it on top of a small submarine.
When looking at fleabay prices, its always worth looking at more conventional suppliers first.  There have in the past been lots of cases on here of ebayitis, where auction fever has gripped the participants with the "winner" paying for both the item (at rrp) and a short holiday for the seller.

There was a build on the Warships site

http://modelwarshipsuk.informe.com/forum/aircraft-carriers-and-amphbious-f18/fearless-intrepid-landing-craft-revisited-lcu-mk9-t991.html        (You need to be a member to view but it is free)

Where snowwolflair (also on this forum ) built something similiar to this so might give you some ideas, if you are planning to have a go.

Lindberg had an old LCVP kit that has possiblities, and several people
have converted the Italieri 1/35 scale LCM3

I got an Airfix 1/76th LCM 3 to work using the workings from a cheap model speedboat that had two props but no rudder and everything fitted in the motor compartment.  As the LCVP is single shaft, if you really wanted an RC version, I would suggest cannibalising one of the lightweight electric planes with an electro magnet actuated rudder but it would be suitable for only very smooth water.
