During the 1980s I built the steam drifter kit in the photos attached.
The model has not been used for many years so I have just started a refit and cannot remmber the kit name or find the original plans.
Does anyone recognise the model and name, it would have been sold around 1982. I need to find the rigging plan and fittings layout to replace some of the diecast parts.
To improve the power consumption I have replaced the motor with a 12v decaperm running from a 6v battery and constructed a PIC based ESC.
I found a good sized lake recently hence the re-build.
