Hi Rubus

It is not a good idea to put any personal details, address, phone number etc, into a post on a public forum.

You can however click on the IM button under Stavros's name in his previous post and send him a personal message. This is much more secure.

As an aside. If you ever put your email address into a post, there is software out there that automatically trawls through forums like this and picks up email addresses to send advertising (SPAM) to.

hi, i was at llanberis yesterday 16/7/09 hopeing to sail my new fishing boat . but there are signs all round saying dont enter the lake as it has blue-green algie and not to use any form of sailing ie. canoes, swiming, animals, and model boats i persume, i hope i am not speaking out of line but when all you chaps and ladies,  comeing from any distance can any body clarify if it can still be used on the 15and 16 of august. in the toilets there are signs with 3 levels and red is showing as highly dangerous . may be by the time  it could be clear.

I believe that the event has been passed to go ahead , Steamboat Phil is the Man to ask.

We had a swimming event taking place , but it was to close to the required time to confirm that the lake would have been cleared.. The sailing event is about 3 weeks later which would have been fine.

I'm sure Phil will post later.
