On any receiver (including this one) you can feed the receiver power into any of the channel plugs as well as the one called power (if there is a seperate one). To keep the size and cost down (and width) a lot of the manufacturers do this and make the highest number channel also the power feed point.
If you have a ESC with BEC (ie it supplies power to the receiver) you do not need to do anything at all - that is where the Rx and all the servos will get the power from
If you are driving servos only, or a ESC without BEC just plug your RX battery into the Channel 7 (or any other unused channel)
BTW - if you are using all the channels and none of them are BEC, then you plug any one of them in to the correct type of "Y" lead (one male to 2 females) and the battery into one of the females and the servo/whatever into the other - this feeds the Rx and all the servos, etc
