Hill Climb at Wiscombe Park, Devon

Just spent a great day on Saturday watching the practice for Sunday's championship round at this beautifull venue. For all the sound & fury of the high power machines, I still get a kick out of the Austin 7s doing their thing.  The last picture is the Cooper T39 "Bobtail" that was driven by the great Stirling Moss in the fifties..Even the weather was kind.... :-)) :-))......Smudge

Yes Martin, it is an Austin 7 special owned by a chap from Bristol, built in 1931, under the bonnet is a thumping 750cc engine. He holds the class record for the course of 53.83 seconds for the 915 meter course in this car... :o.........Smudge
