trying to find stanchions for a boat,about one inch long and as thick as a drawing pin the sharp bit. or cotter pins would do, trying squires but nothing on the net for them cannot seem to get them on phone

I would like some brass spilt pins to fit a 1mm hand rail about 2-4 mm from the side walls, what do I need?
Where do I get them from?

There was a discussion about split pins here http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=17425.0 with a couple of suppliers mentioned.

I got mine from
"www.grsuk.com"
I think they only stock 1/16" pins. The loop/hole at the top is perhaps too large as they are at least 1.5mm dia. So perhaps a smaller size if you can find one.
