Well as promised in another thread heres my builds up to now............
First up is my 42" Huntsman, this was my first build and although I took the route of only installing a single 850 motor it will get up on the plane, runs really well generally, although on it's last trip out the prop got fouled with weed which in turn blew the fuse. This mean't I had to go for a paddle up to my waist to go and fetch it out the water

2nd is a 1/25 scale (if I remember rightly) Osborn Models Miss Supertest. This little Hydroplane type boat is pretty well bog standand as it comes out of the box, other than I've sprayed the hull completely rather than varnish it, I've also added a brushless motor and li-po battery which really makes this tiny little boat whizz along the water. The only downside with it being that it's a little heavy on the bow. Not really a problem if the water is calm, but if there is any chop on the water it has a tendancy to submarine a little, so I only sail this little boat on the calmest of days.

Thirdly is Police Boat that was a restoration project that was given to me in a very sorry state last year, when I received it all it consisted of was the basic plastic hull, although the motor was still in it as were the heavily corroded batteries, I spent about 30 hours on it to get it looking like it is now. I've also replaced all the electronics and batteries etc, it now runs a 385 motor with a 11.4 li-po battery and is great fun to play around with. It's quite fast and gets up on the plane easily, it also doesn't seem to matter what conditions the waters like either, it just steams away like a good un'. Of special note is the blue lighting bar of the roof which was all scratchbuilt, using an old Cokin Blue photographic filter and some high intensity LED's, really effective and works well even in bright sunlight. I also included the navigation and mast lights which all works in conjunction. I also added a Graupner mast which helps set it all of, whilst it may only be a cheap plastic kit type model, I must admit to quite liking the end result with this one and as I said earlier, it's great fun to sail.

Lastly is a scratchbuilt Narrowboat, 1/25 scale which I've recently finished, works really well on the water, although because of it's size and slimline hull I only ever sail it on the calmest of water.

As some of you might already know, I've recently started building a Panart/Mantua Bruma, I'm only really just started this kit, which was bought for me as a birthday present, but I'll hopefully post a few images of that as the build progresses.
Thanks for taking the time to look, regards to all.......Ade
