 well guys, it looks like we don't need politicians running the world it should be down to model boaters, maybe then we might have a bit more peace in the place, yes it has been great to chat to you HUCKSDAD,
 one day i will make the effort and take a trip over to the states, as there are so many fantastic places i would love to see, and OLDIRON  to ride down route 66 on a motobike sounds cool,
 BUNKERBARGE  you have an old girlfriend from Texas, her name wasn't Rose by anychance, and i am getting thoughts of girls wearing bikinis and firing guns, or i'm i on the wrong website again

hahahaha  It's been a great conversation guys. 
Would love to get meet all of you and see your home territories.  Old Route 66 is just about 40 miles north of me.

Anchorboy:  I knew there were some places you could shoot full auto and some permit was available but have never looked into it.  I'm a little behind the times and prefer muzzleloaders for the most part.  I have a few modern guns that are fun and I must admit, it would be fun to try a full auto some time.

Popped down the lake this evening for a couple of minutes (as it happens to sink another model  >:-o ) and
up popped some sort of water snake / worm. Never seen one at the local lake before.... but not quite a 'rattler'!

Martin: That thing was HUGE!!  Did the crew on the ship report the sighting of a sea serpent to the authorities?   {-)

Martin. Lokks like a grass snake (Natrix) too me. We have them over here in sweden aswell, seen quite a few of them when I've been out fishing. Not venomous, but can smell a bit "funky" if you scare them. Easy to recognize by the yellow or white sopts at the back of the head.

Going back to the original post...

Coming from GB originally and seeing the antics of the (so called) American Fisherman (sic) in the past, the video doesn't surprise me in the least.
