I bought a set of prop shafts for my Italeri 1/35th S boat and i drilled out the prop shaft housings to suit,but i followed the line of the housings exactly as it looks as though they should be drilled at a steeper angle and my shafts are too short.This i don't mind i can either make or buy longer ones to correct this,has any one got any interior photos of their builds? so i can work out positioning of motors/batteries to suit my shaft cock up

are these any good to you, i know others have done them different, but at the time i used steel rod and copper tube, the inner is around 12" and two outer around 14".

Thats perfect your shafts come out of the hull where mine do cheers!

I,was going to get the Italeri boat but opted for the Robbe,only because it was already built,as i,m not a very good builder,and because it had a super camo paint job,Baltic Flotilla i,m told see pics

I got the SHG shaft set which had the same problem of being too short because they are at a steeper angle so that motors and batteries can be shifted further aft.  This is the Dave Abbot design that is due to be published in Model Boats soon.  SHG offered to do a lengthened set to suit my requirements for the scale layout - I haven't had the new ones back yet.
