Hi chaps,

Many thanks for the info

I've seen the Drawings in MM but they are not good enough [ sorry, not for what i need anyway ] i have a set of John Lambert drawings winging their way to me as we speak.

What i need now is some good photo's of originals or builders models.........so if you know shout up please.

I do seem to remember Darnnel ? made a kit of this boat in the early 80's then went more into submarine kits do any of you remember this or am i imagining this?

"Fast Fighting Boats" by Harald Fock has a couple of plans, a frame section and a photograph of the 55ft boats.

This might also interest you - if you haven't seen it already. I got it from a website ref CMB103.

The photo posted is of a model in Duxford museum. There is also one of the 45 foot boats there full size
plus plans for both versions framed up on the wall near to the display. I did take some photos but the plan
was a bit creased so of limited use for building purposes.
I'm finishing a model based on the Marine Modelling plan which certainly needs a bit of structural alteration to
be a practical build but should look reasonably authentic when finished. These things varied a good deal
in terms of the wheelhouse and detail fittings.

hello
There  is a plan in the april 2008  Marine Modelling  International
if you build one  i would make the battery compartment bigger  as i  put a llarger battery in to give longer sale time  !
i also moved the servo  up near to the side of the motor    i did,nt use a micro servo as it lacked power  ( strenght ) to give a good rudder movement   !!
            Regards Andy
