Lifeboat 38-01 at Blyth, Northumberland.

Hi, I have got mouldings for the lifeboat 38-01, it is not RNLI so Poole cannot help, I need to know how deep the deck is below the gunwales, it looks loike a Tyne but does not have a flush deck

Search the web for Lochlin 38 boats. That's the boat it is based on.

Also contact Caister Independant Lifeboat station.....(click here)  http://www.caisterlifeboat.org.uk/.......... It was their boat before Blyth called the Bernard Matthews.

Could the mouldings be from Models By Design? I found this pic among the Wings and Wheels Show pics on the main Mayhem site, and the boat in the bottom left shows 38-01 on the price tag

Charlie,
 thats the one I got it at the Birchwood show from Models by Design.
I thought it would make a change from my Tyne, what I did not realise the deck is not flush as in most lifeboats
