Hope the title brings in the Anglers amongst you.  I have found amongst some old fishing gear a float that is a perfect  1/32 torpedo for my Hellcat, but I need another three, no luck with local fishing shops,  <:(  so I was hoping the anglers amongst you could help out.
Marked on the side of the float,  TECHNIQUE PIKE SLIDER SIZE No2

Try Fox, I know they have a website, but don't know the address.

Nearly toesupwa, there was one the right shape (Pike Cigar in balsa wood (10 pack) ) at Tacklebargains but sadly not long enough, they need to be about 5 inches long.  Thanks for trying.

Off to Italy in the morning for a week, so I will check this thread when I return to see if anyone has come up with anything.

Try this site, probably better to give them a call for sizes.

http://www.fishingmegastore.com/

They do the fox range of floats as well as some others. If they don't have it/equivalent I think you will struggle to find it on line as this shop is the size of a B & Q.

Instead of searching worldwide for pike floats, why not just buy a length of dowel the correct diameter. Cut a piece to length, and either spin it up with a drill and shape the end with a file or just hand shape it with a file.

To spin it with a drill, screw a screw into the centre of the end, cut the head off the screw, and hold what is left sticking out in the chuck. Resting the rotating dowel against the bench edge as you are filing will stop it going all over the place. Unscrew the screw with a pair of pliers, and fill the hole, or stick the detonator cap or propellor into it.
An hour should see four done with ease.

Just a suggestion.

Hy
Just to widen your search a little, why not have a look at the floats used by Sea Anglers when fishing from rocks for mackerel, you can sometimes find these on cheap hand lines sold to holiday makers at seaside resorts.

model boat building in knickers and socks? Is there something you should be telling us?

By the way, that fitting is 3/8 bsp, not 1/2"
