new mini drill...
« on: September 18, 2009, 09:15:39 am »

Morning chaps,

I'm after your recommendations for a mini drill (cordless or corded), I need it to drill fibreglass/plastic/thin metal...the usual modelling materials. Preferably with a multi speed control, a decent chuck that holds drill bits securely, and one that will take a variety of extras.

I'd like a decent one, one that won't fall to pieces a week after purchase, and one that comes fairly complete with all the bits needed to use it straight away.

Priced around...say fifty quid(ish)

Nah....That's not good......It is excellent. Snap it up Rich. I have one and it is very good. While you are at it though buy the keyless chuck for it. Much better than the collet system..
