help needed on cabin crusier
« on: October 07, 2009, 11:05:21 pm »

Hello
I am in need of some help, I have been given a old model cabin crusier as a restoration project it has some damage and a few bits missing but not bad damage.I floated it and it didn't let in any water. It is 50" long and weighs 6.5kg. It is all wood and has a single prop shaft.I don't know if it was a kit or scratch built.I can repair all the damage and make the parts that are missing but fitting it out with the radio gear and what motor to use ect is a bit daunting.I was wondering if there is a recomended publication that might help me thro this. or even some one who could tell me what size motor, speed controller i shoud use.any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tony

For the motor I would fit a MMB 900

This gives you the choice of speed/voltage.
