Kort Prop advice please
« on: November 03, 2009, 10:17:20 am »

I building Model Slipways "Maggie M" and going to replacie the white metal prop with a brass one.
I'm wondering  whether to go for a four blade while I'm at it, for a bit more pulling power, the present one is three.
I'm going to use a Graupner 7200 BB....... the prop is 50mm.

Any advice ????

I would go for the four bladed prop and also make sure that it is a prop designed for a Kort nozzle i.e. with square ends to the blades not a turbine type that has rounded tips.  ATB  George
