1:28 Scale Crew
« on: November 21, 2009, 09:23:05 am »

Hi Everyone,

Brand spanking new to the forum, I may have a bit of engineering and electronics experience and resources to hand if I'm asked nicely.

I'm building a 1:28 Scale Hamina class missile boat and need any 1:28 Scale detailing I can get my hands on (From this century preferably and specifically crew), I've tried my usual shops and online places but there doesn't seem to be much about.

Any pointers would be much appreciated, I'll post progress of the build for anyone interested in the Warships section. Much of the development, and I call it development is experimental due to the nature of the build.. All will become clear I expect.

Nice to see a good model boat Forum about!

Welcome Harrison, if it is any use in your search here are some of the nearest scale figure sizes.  1/30th is Gauge 1 model railways (57.75mm).  1/32 scale very common, including plastic model aircraft((55.80mm). Height of figures in brackets.  Experimental techniques in model boatbuilding....never  {-)!!!!   :-))

Hi Arrow5,

Mental for sure, so I may have to have slightly larger than scale crew... Germans perhaps?

Thanks for the info.
