No idea but there would appear to be some weird frames in it.

It looks to be around 5'6" long,with a beam of around 6-7",so I'm thinking that it's a naval hull of some kind.It's going to have a really weird shaped stern though. %%

hi Andy

Are you going to mount the frames on a building board?  or are you going to put the deck on first to hold all the frames square and the keel true?

what you could do is block between the frames and the stern with balsa wood and then plank oer the top of them and then sand n fill with P38 fill - just a thought....

The frame will be fixed to a building board to keep it square i think its easier that way and it also makes it harder to launch it out of the workshop when im planking the stern  >>:-( <*< she is a very weird shape at the stern , her transom is barely in the water but i suppose on the real thing a few hundred tons of mackerel would alter that   O0 :-))

They go out into the atlantic after them ,on one episode of the trawlermen the Lunar Bow had 500 tons for 1 haul on her maiden trip so i guess the answer is yes but for how long  {:-{

Any water in the sea that is not close to the bottom is in the pelagic zone. The word pelagic comes from the Greek πέλαγος or pélagos, which means open sea.
