A design for a side-wall model hovercraft

I thought that I might like to design a model hovercraft using my knowledge of science and engineering.  used three fans, one for the lift system and two to drive and steer the craft. The lift fan and the thrusters were adapted to do their different jobs as well as I know how. I used a side-wall layout and it worked well. If the craft is floating with the lift fan off it scarcely moves with both thrusters running but, as soon as the lift fan starts, it lifts about 1 ½ inches and sets off at a smart pace. It is behaving as a cushion craft. For this it needs not more than 120 watts from an 8.4 volt battery.

I wrote up the design and the write-up is far too long for a forum. However it is on my website at www.ivorbittle.co.uk. Some forum readers might be interested.

Ivor,

An interesting website not just for the sidewall craft. Thank you,

I am sorry for the "I" being missing at the start of the second sentence. There would be two pictures if I could work out how to upload them. Science is no help. Firefox has not found my website but it is on the other search engines.
