Homecoming Ex Pat

Evenin' all !

      Just thought that I'd say hello

              Ex Illinois flyer back in the UK for a cuppla years (wise move ?)

                 Last boat build was a Perkasa MTB   back in the 70s, but now armed with 2.4Ghz, lotsa enthusiasm, and a few bob to dispose of...trying the wet stuff again !

         Presently incarcerated in the Swindon area and although not too keen on going down "club street" again, wouldn't mind hearing from other Capitans in the area ?

Know St Charles well    my ol' flying club is there    www.foxvalleyaero.com   please have a look when you're free.

I lived in Elgin (pronouced Eljin   by the locals)   a few miles away down Randall Road Great crowd of fellas, even included Bob (Mr Robart) Walker among it's member list ...and me  of course !

Yup   quite right...lotsa famous peeps hail from Swindon originally     Piper, Dors, O'Sullivan, XTC     and they all seem to have one thing in common....As soon as they hit the big(?) time    they all vacated the area PDQ

I was here in the 70s when I was stationed at RAF Lyneham, but I seem to have landed within a parallel universe this time !   Still...could be worse I guess    I could be a world Class Golfer   yuk yuk
