Transport for a family of four.
« on: December 04, 2009, 12:22:39 pm »

This is not considered abnormal here in China. The oddest thing is having two children.

People also ride motorcycles and bikes while using a mobile phone or texting.

Unfortunately, some people over here use their mobiles, including texting, when driving on the motorway  <*< <*< <*<

Somehow I think that a car is a much more stable platform than a two wheeler  {-) {-)

But a car on the motorway is far more dangerous to other road users  :police:

I read somewhere recently of someone boasting that they had got away with it because they were using a dictaphone not a mobile.

Either he is a jerk or the law was badly drafted. He should have been done for driving without due care and attention.

"I read somewhere recently of someone boasting that they had got away with it because they were using a dictaphone not a mobile".
It was a comedic personality called Jimmy Carr. I suspect he paid far more to his smarty-pants lawyer for that smug defence than he would have done in paying a fine. His choice. Mine is to switch him off.

"Either he is a jerk or the law was badly drafted".
I have my own opinion on this - try "both".

I wonder which lawyer the sainted Harridan Harmful Harriet Harman will employ when she goes up before the beak for her second such offence?
'ave a guess, guv!  :-))
