Model Boat Regatta - Stevenage
Sunday 13th June 2010

Stevenage Model Boat Club will be running a ‘Fun Day’  Regatta on Sunday 13th June at Fairlands Valley Park, Six Hills Way, Stevenage, SG2 OBL.

09.00-11.00hrs. will provide time to come and run I/C also Fast Electric and from 11.00hrs. Scale – Electric – Steam – Steam – Submarines and Yachts of all classes.

This is an opportunity extended from the Stevenage Model Boat Club to invite other clubs and individual modellers to come and sail on the Fairlands Valley Water. There is considerable space for free sailing and there will be a simple ‘course’ for those who wish to try out their skills. Drive right up to the water – unload your models – plenty of near by parking – Café –Toilets.

WHERE DOSE ALL THE TIME GO?
Well it's time for SMBC to hold there "Fun Day" here at Stevenage.
IC boats are welcome 9 till 11 am then anyother boats for the rest of the day. You can off load 50ft from the water. FREE car park. Cafe nearby dose lovely grub.
So if you are at a lose end we would be glad to see you SUNDAY this weekend. 

PS IC boats need to have MPBA,BPMRS, OMRA insurance.

We could do just that. Mind you as far as i can work out they sink there boats on purpose????  I'm sorry but that is lost on me. Boat sinks , Can't see it, Can't here it!! Na not for me & whats more not a drop of petrol anywhere. Still if it your thing then live & let live.

Thanks! I know i can get it up to 11 on our lake. Take a look in July's Model boats Mag (just came out today) Me and my boat are in the power boat section a few times.
