Martin the person who built the HMS Marshal Soult is a member of my club and the club is New Brighton Model Boat Club and he did serve onboard the ship hes a great gent and he would give you all the details about the ship.
Also a big thank you to E/mere port  club for a great first day at the show I will be back tomorrow, and also lovely photos. :-)) :-)) :-))

What a brilliant 2nd day it was today , Sun and blue sky , albeit a bit fresh.. My thanks go out to Steve, John and all the whole of the Ellesmereport MBC for giving up so much of their time to ensure the day was a great success..
The Dock area looked the part with some good towing taking place.
This early bird show in spring is just what is required and hosted at such a fantastic location. Looking forward to 2011  :-))

Yup an excellent day.   Lots of interesting models to see and the chance to have a sail with my Karoline, though the breeze was a bit too light for me to take full advantage of sailing on a big bit of water.   I avoided spending too much but it was  touch and go!

Thanks to everyone involved in the organisation.  I hope we'll see another one next year.   I think it's great to have a show early in the year and not on a bank holiday.
