would like to know the best way to protect the sides of my fireboat tried draught excluder but it is made of foam to soft i am waiting now for DONT HIT THE BANK thanks

could try rope stuck on with contact adhesive, often used on full size boats

Try a marine store and have a look at hatch seals - comes in D profiles, some with adhesive.

robbe do some 'D'section
(2 sizes 12mm & 8mm) its its rubber so it dosnt tear/ rip or fall apart i have it on my tugs great stuff!!! regards ray
