Hi Boat Builders.
I have just completed my first boat called Moonraker, it is a Mega-Yacht of 1:25 scale made by Graupner.
At the present time i am converting my garage into a workshop to carry out more serious stuff having outgrown my spare bedroom.
Having recently retired from work i hope to have loads of time for boat building, and DIY to keep the wife happy.
Resent scanning of boat sites i came across a boat called Shore Thing a one off model built by Captains Models in the1980s.
The original kit the boat was made from was made by Dumas Products and called Prime Time, a resent e/mail to Captains Models revels the kit is know longer available, they suggested i surf the internet to find kit.
However the boat is up for sale by its owner for $9500, the wife would shoot me first, more exciting to build than buy completed model.
Will supply photos of Moonraker & Shore Thing when i find out how to do it.
By for now.
