Ever had some life-enhancing advice to ease your way through life that you felt ought to be shared?
Here's one I gathered the other day

Just before taking my final exam, the senior tutor took me to one side and suggested that I leave it for another year. (I was obviously going to spoil his statistics.) I said that the experience would be useful for me.

I passed the exam and in the pub afterwards, I mentioned the attempt at dissuasion to said tutor.

He replied, "Ah Michael, advice is something you can choose to igore".

When having an argument with your wife, if you are sure that you are 100% right - apologise immediately!
