Hi Martin

I posted a question on here before about Modified Acrylic adhesives. These are cheap in China and come in a two tube (A and B) pack in a 'resinous' form like epoxy. In fact in most supermarkets it has replaced two part epoxy on the shelf.

I was told it is the same as Stablit Express. If this is the case, Stablit is branded and this is why the cost. Perhaps you could look for a non-branded Modified Acrylic.

Possibly not the same TT. Have a look at the Deluxe Materials products here: http://www.deluxematerials.com/products_spa.html I suspect that the Super Crylic one is what you are seeing whereas it is the Fusion powder based product which is similar to Stablit Express.

Hi, I love that stuff, Del hates it! , when you have a awkward joint to glue with dissimilar materails stablit is the stuff, I even used it to glue the "A" frames to the propshafts on my Aran lifeboat and they have still held with all that power and vibration running through them.
I get mine from Anglia model centre when there at the shows, I tried to get some at Dortmund the other year, but no one sold it !!

Paul.
