Via email to Mayhem...

Hello,

My name is Mike,  I have a large wooden sailing ship, ( even the sails
are wooden ).   Over the years the rigging has badly decayed and crumbled.
Can you put me in touch,  possibly with one of you members who would and
could be prepared to re-rig it for me.

It has been in a bay window for many years and I think the sun has caused the
problem.

I must add that I did not build the ship, I bought it at an auction, so
don't have a clue about the knots and so on.

I am obviously prepared to pay any costs of materials and for time to do the
job.

Any help you can give will be much appreciated.

Thanks and Regards

Mike

Maybe a picture would help members see the problem, and if any of them could help.

Re rigging is perfectly possible, but depending on the model, can take a year to complete properly. We need a photo to be able to judge. It could cost him a small fortune for a complete re rig....
