RC Model aircraft -airliners
« on: February 23, 2010, 10:07:27 pm »

I used to be into model aircraft for many years ,  and built a few airliners I had a BAE 146, Dash7, Fokker friendship, but his one this I designed and built, it flew really well it was nitro powered as electric flight was in its infancy then .You had to make sure your landings were "greaser's "as it would not take to much punishment on landing.

Sold it at Wings and wheels a few years ago.

The extract below is from the on line plans guide
Paul Chilcott designed this all Styrofoam sports-scale model of the A320 AIRBUS featuring full-house R/C and a single 2-strokeengine. Using foam for construction has helped in the speed at which the model can be constructed. Some understanding of plan building and foam cutting is required. This model is not suitable for novice flyers.
•    Wingspan: 74" / 1880 mm
•   Engine: .40-.45 2-strokes
•   Radio: 4 function
•   Weight: 6 lb 8 oz / 2.912 kg
