single axis sticks

these modern dual-axis sticks are all very well, but there are some applications where I'd feel happier with 4 single-axis ones. Can you still get them? I'd quite like to get a cheap Tx/Rx combo and remodel the TX to give 4 sticks.

Yes. Google 'SLM Model Engineers' then ring them and speak to Martin Lewicki. I pay about two quid apiece for them. The only problem is that the pots may not be the value you're looking for, so you'll have to find some that are.

you can convert some futaba sticks to single axis,(I have just done a 6EX but I know some older sets can be done as well) on the back of the stick is a position for a locking plate to stop one axis movement and so if you can get an old TX with two more in you would prob not then have the pot problem. just needs about an 1 1/2" strip of plasticard with two holes
