I am a new member and I have just completed my first boat - a Billings Nordkap.  The photos show it on the water at Black Park near Slough where I have just joined the model boat club.   I got a lot of help from other forums and have just come across this one.  There are very few problems which someone else hasn't solved!  My next boat will be the Mantua Bruma, so if anyone has experience of this kit, I would be interested to hear from them.  My other hobby is model railways where I like to build my own locos, rolling stock etc.  Now semi-retired, I have more time to pusue these hobbies.  Thanks to Martin in France for his welcome to this site.

You have made a fine job of Nordkap, I built one in 2008 and thoroughly enjoyed it, it looks and sails well too.
