Hello guys i was down the loacal lake yesterday with a guy that has a 'king of shaves' 26cc.... Ive always loved nitro cars aso im thinking this could be a great move :)

But what i want to know is what boats are good for beginers... i have been looking at a 'club 500' boat but im unsure :)

All help will be appriciated :)

A club 500 would be perfect for a beginner.

I think the King of Shaves is a pile of junk. Mind you I think all petrol / nitro RTRs are.

Hello andy thankyou for the advice... is the club 500's upgradable ?  What other boats for biginers are there?

You can do whatever you like with a club 500, too much power and they'll start going nuts though.

I've seen one with a graupner jet drive on the back, that would certainly be interesting.

Look out for the boats for sale on here, a few of them are ready to run. The best thing to do for now would be to join a club.

The club 500 is upgradeable but it's a class of boat like Formula 1, or boxing Fly weight - if you stick to the rules, you can
race other people but that's not to stop you putting a higher powered / faster motor and having a blast but remember, it's a small boat!
 Good value kit and quite strong.
