garston1, thanks for the posting the pics of my PT boat!

It is a somewhat reworked ProBoat....

Reworked? Yup, motors, shafts, props, batteries, radio gear (FrSky 2.4ghz), rudders, water cooling, ballasting, superstructure detailing.... I often wonder whether starting with a hull and a plan would have been quicker!

Anyhow, I'm glad to see it sails bang on it's marks - The real thing couldn't plane, and neither can this one.

Enough about mine...... The 'MEANDER' in your pics is a really well researched model based on the ModelSlipway 'Dutch' tug, I had a long chat with its' owner/builder - it's one of those models that if you ate/drank the wrong thing in Wonderland, you could go aboard and sail! The prototype if I remember this correctly, is engaged in work on a windfarm off the Kent coast.

that Tony buys anything thats moving :} or not :-)) He's after my severn he'll have to come up with some serious money to get that off me though ok2

not everyone likes slow boats, each to their own, providing fast and/or large  boats are driven with courtesy when others are on the water, which is what i do with my large fast boats :-))
