Tug Towing at Kirklees Model Boat Club

Kirklees Model Boat Club held their first tug towing event today at Wilton Park, Batley.  The wind proved to be a problem with the tows but all competitors managed with no problems.  A large selection of different model tugs were on display.  There will be some pictures to follow.  I would like to thank the following clubs for supporting the event:  Ellesmere Port MBC; Wirral MBC; Kingsmill MB and Balne Moor.   A big thanks to Jason and Nigel for all the hard work they have put in to make the first event a success.  There will be further tug towing events during the year and at the Kirklees Open Day on 11th July.  Must not forget other members of Kirkless that took part in the event.   :-)) :-)) :} :} :}

Can i just say thankyou to kirklees club for a great day towing myself ,john hughes and mike Ellis from the port had a great day Jason,Nigel,jabba and the club done a great job looking forward to the next one we can get to.  i forgot my camera but mike and poll both were seen snapping away so hope they post some
