Hi All   
Can you help, i have just purchased a steam launch, although i have been a modeler all my life Boats Planes Helicopters and back to boats, i have always wanted to get into steam, so now i have the most beautiful Steam Launch built by a man who has now passed away. But have little knowledge of steam so can you advise me from the pictures i have posted what size and capacity of boiler and gas tanki have, also some info regarding the power plant. Nether the boiler or the gas tank has any numbers stamped on them so i assuse they will need to be certificated, i live in Essex so any help as where to go would be great, sorry for all the questions at once any help would be appreciated.

I'm afraid the pictures did not come out so we need those to be able to give any answers.  Also what information were you given with the model?  Does it have any certifictaes? Does it have any name on it anywhere?

There more you can give us the better chance we have of being able to tell you anything.  As for certification we first of all need to know what it is and then you need to know whether you are going to use it at events run under the Model Power Boat Association or under the "Blue Book" rules.
