Wanted 1:45/48th Scale crew
« on: January 11, 2007, 08:02:46 pm »

Hi can anybody help ????? I'm after some crew for my 1:45th Billings Calypso, but I'm sure 1:48th will be ok also. Does anybody know where I could buy some, as crew figures seem almost impossible to find.
Any help appreciated. Cheers Dan.

I bought three of Georges 1/48th figures for my Slipway Envoy class tug.

This is what they ended up like.  Excuse the amateur paint job, figures are not my strong point!!  :D

O-gauge model railway figures are close to scale I have found they look fine. I have discovered some model boat suppliers figures are obtained from the model rail world.

Thanks very much to all of you for your help. I'll give the sites a look & order a few. I think crewless ships look funny..... Unless you are modelling the Mary Celeste of course !!! Again many thanks for all the help Happy modelling Dan.
