buying from them too costly. are there any suppliers closer to home. can

I KNOW MODELS BY DESIGN DID HAVE SOME CAP MAQUETTE STUFF AT ONE STAGE, NOT SURE IF THEY STILL STOCK THEIR STUFF OR NOT....

I RECENTLY LOOKED AT BUYING SOME PARTS,  ABOUT £25 QUIDS WQORTH, BUT IT WAS NEARLY £20 TO SHIP TO THE UK SO I DID N'T BOTHER !

 IS THERE ANY UK STOCKISTS NOW AFTER BOW WAVE CEASED RETAILING CAP PRODUCTS ?

 it was some of the larger scale resin fittings ( the ones i cant get from the brilliant macs mouldings - plug plug )  and the 1 to 10 scale figures that cap maquettes do.....

Hello Dave,

At this moment there is no UK-agent for CAP Maquettes, the UK-agent (company-name Bow-Wave) died unfortunately during a model-boat navigation contest in his club-waters a few years ago, his wife continued the business but quit at the end of last year. I myself get some inquiries now and then from the UK and I know that some contact the French address.

Sending stuff from France is quit expensive, I know, I'm the Dutch representative for CAP Maquettes since 1997/1998. From Holland to the UK we charge 15 euro's postage and packing up to a sales-value of 125 euros and 7.50 euros for a sales-value up to 250 euros, above sale of 250 euros charge is zero. All but the aluminium mast profile M16(N) and M19(N) can be shipped to the UK, the masts are resp: 7.38" and 8.03" in length.

So if you know people who are interested in CAP products I can deliver from The Netherlands.
One can download a PDF-catalog with all CAP items and some 4 pages with fittings from AMATI (Italy) from the following address:

This catalog contains metric AND imperial sizes of the items !!

If one wants to order from me simply send a list by email to sales@* and I will create a pro-forma invoice (pdf) with the correct prices and cost of p&p.
If agreed I will then arrange for the items to be picked (and ordered in France if necessary) and if the order is complete the customer will get an email with the request to pay the invoice (only for the items present) by paypal so anybody can order and pay securely.
This way there will be no payment for items that cannot be delivered (permanent or temporarily) so no need to return funds.
