Well after a bit of effort I have now fitted the lifeboat out with a Honda 4 stroke engine. There was 2 ressons for this 1, keep the noise level down as the two stroke has a crackle to it. 2 a we bit more reliable. I have got to wait for the new props to arrive but I hope to do a bit of testing next weekend.

Well got the Honda engine in and gave it a run today. You can't get upset about the engine noise now. There ain't none to speak of. Got to do something to water cool the engine but it is all going in the right direction. Come and see it at Weymouth this weekend. I plan to put it on show at Radipole lake on Sunday.

Bill........just put something up on chitchat that you might be interested in..about Honda wanting a new TV star.

Mabel Alice will be on show at Wicksteed park Mayhem event this year  :-)) Oh off course it will be at the Stevenage MBC Lifeboat Fun Day in July.
